I’m so glad you made it over here! I’m Nicole and I’m a New England Wedding Photographer (I travel too!), mother (to humans and pups), a wife, and a Zumba goddess. Seriously though, you should see my moves. I believe in soulmates and I watch far too much of The Bachelor. That was an oxymoron, I know. Other favorites include Game of Thrones, The Leftovers, Survivor, Fixer Upper, and the always hilarious Shameless. I read too, and when I allow myself the time, I dive into mostly self-help type books about being Zen, finding my chi, owning who I am, and how to ask the Universe the right questions and receive answers. Currently on my vision board you will find photos of Hawaii, Italy, and women looking happy, balanced, and well traveled. Come on, Universe, let’s get on the same page!
Most days you will find me at the gym or doing a P90x workout in the morning, and then bopping back and forth for the rest of the day between work, procrastinating, house stuff, procrastinating some more (seriously, it’s a problem) getting the kids to and from where they need to be, planning my next Disney trip (I’m obsessed, don’t judge), hiking another mountain, coaching my daughter’s lacrosse team, and snuggling my pups in between.
I’m often known for my strength and determination. I believe I (and you!) with enough hard work, preparation, and motivation, can do anything I set my mind to. Also, I’m usually the one that decides on a whim that we need to renovate or redecorate, again, and then I pour 1000% of myself into it until it’s done. My husband loves it.
On my bucket list you will find things like learning how to play the piano ( I taught myself how to play a Pink Floyd song on the keyboard, for real..), learning how to speak Italian for when I buy a villa on the Amalfi coast, and hiking the Appalachian Trail.
I am most passionate about my family, music, and as of lately, traveling. I haven’t done a lot of it. I want to change that. (Ahem… Universe…) I am also so passionate about helping my couples have the best wedding photography experience possible. I want you to be relaxed and have fun on your wedding day. I want you to have time to soak it all in and be with the people you love most, not spend every second of your wedding day taking photos, unless you want to of course.
So now that you know a little bit about me, I wanted to take this opportunity to to have a REAL conversation with you. Guys, there are a ton of talented wedding photographers out there. A TON. A lot of them are my friends. There are some super awesome people in this industry, and the majority of them value community over competition. For real, it’s a great thing. That said… how the heck are you supposed to figure out who to trust to photograph your most special day? Well, to be honest, for starters you should love their work. You should be able to envision yourself in their photos and their images should make you FEEL something. If that’s all good, you should focus on finding someone that you actually genuinely like as a person and connect with. The more connected you are, the more relaxed and comfortable you are, the more natural your wedding photos will feel. You will look like YOU and the special connection you have with the love of your life will shine through.
So if you think I may be a good fit for you, and you don’t mind if I bust out a move or two on the dance floor (with camera in hand of course) please, I would love to hear from you! Click on the Contact button and send me a message. I can’t wait to hear all about your plans!
